Vanessa obtained her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2014. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University. Vanessa is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Throughout her education and clinical experience, Vanessa has developed an evidence-based approach to therapy and has worked with diverse populations, injuries and conditions. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in herbal medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. He is currently a registered acupuncturist and TCM practitioner with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

Riccardo received his BScPT with Honors in 2007 from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

In 2010, he completed a post-graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy (SPT), and then also completed the McKenzie International Institute’s Accreditation Program in 2017, becoming a MDT Credentialed Therapist.

He represented South Africa on three occasions at the World Karate Championships, and this is where he developed an interest in both sports and human biology, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.

From 2009 to 2019, he ran his own clinic in Johannesburg, South Africa, which specialized in treating Sports Injuries and back/neck pain. During this time he worked with Pro level soccer and rugby teams, as well as elite level sportsmen from all disciplines.

Robert believes in empowering his patients with the skills and knowledge needed to prevent their pain from returning in the future.

As a former competitive athlete in hockey and baseball, Robert has a strong understanding of biomechanics and how they relate to sport-specific injuries and their rehab. Alexandra moved to Edinburgh, Scotland to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Since graduating in 2017, Alexandra returned home to Ontario, and has been working in orthopaedic musculoskeletal clinics.

Alexandra has a passion for learning and has completed several acupuncture and manual therapy courses, inclusive of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Levels I-III, offered through the Orthopeadic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Alexandra is currently working towards completing various courses in manual therapy, Functional Movement Assessment, Postural Restoration Institute and advanced dry needling.
